Cancellation Policy
Fee Structure The cost per session is $ 100.00, defined as up to one hour of counseling, and can regularly flex fifteen minutes late without incurring any additional fee in perpetuity. Sessions beyond the 1-hour and 15-minute parameter are subject to an additional fee at the counselor’s discretion, but we aim for a predictable time and cost of “one session.” The session fee may be paid in advance, but must be paid either at the counseling session or no more than 48 hours after the conclusion of the counseling session. Sessions may be paid online unless other exception provisions are made. Scheduling Policy When a scheduled session must be cancelled or rescheduled per the request of the client, the request must be submitted with no fewer than 48 hours of advanced notice. Any request that is made in 47 or fewer hours will be subject to a half-session fee, and no future sessions will be scheduled until this fee is paid. This is not a policy with the intent to penalize a client, but rather to protect the counselor’s life balance and predictability. Tardiness and Honoring One Another Tardiness to counseling that surpasses ten minutes will not extend the end of the counseling session by an equal amount of tardy time. Often, multiple appointments are booked with 15-minute margins in between for counselor transition and prayer; thus, session extension cannot always be accommodated. Abbreviated sessions due to client tardiness will still incur a full session fee. Regular tardiness, as defined by being tardy at or over 50% of the sessions over a given time period (for weekly meetings, over one month, for bi-weekly meetings, over two months), will not be regularly accommodated, even if it is 10 minutes or under in regularity. If a client is regularly tardy over a given time period, their sessions will end promptly at one hour after the scheduled start time until such a time that the client has proven punctual over an equal amount of tardy time incurred. Missed sessions A forgotten or missed session will be subject to a full session fee at the counselor's discretion, and no future sessions will be scheduled until this fee is paid.
